Did you know Prince of Peace ...

... is a public school.

We were the first alternative Christian program within Rocky View Schools.  Prince of Peace delivers Christian programming within a public system and provides access to supports offered by the jurisdiction.

... is very affordable.

The Alternative Program Fee is only $60 per year per child.  No high tuition that costs hundreds of dollars.  Other fees are similar to those in other RVS schools.  See our Fee List for details.

... has smaller class sizes.

Unlike designated schools, Prince of Peace is an alternative program of choice.  Families choose to have their children attend.  This means that we have the ability to keep class sizes within a recommended range.  Typically, Kindergarten classes are around 20 students per class, grades 1 & 2 at 23 per class, grade 3 at 25 per class, and grades 4-9 at 27 per class.

... welcomes all.

Families that reside within Rocky View County that desire a Christian education for their children are welcome.  In fact, any family, regardless of faith, that wants the program we provide is welcome.

... is a uniform school.

We believe uniforms enhance community spirit and school pride.  They foster a sense of unity, decorum, and dignity that puts the focus on learning.

... uses RVS transportation.

Prince of Peace is served by Southland Transportation, a contractor of RVS.  Residents of Rocky View bused to our school would be charged the same transportation fee as those going to a school other than their designated school.  In 2018-2019 that fee was $294 per child.  See our webpage on Busing for more information.
